The estate has ow 9.5 hectares, but only 3 hectares of vineyards are planted, mainly in Côte Rôtie. In Côte Rôtie, the surfaces are divided into Côte Brune (in Janet), which gives our vintage "Paradise", and Côte Blonde (Corps de Loup), from where come the wines "Corps de Loup" and "Marions-les!". In Condrieu, our two parcels are located at Côte Bonette and Lamberte.
The farming practices are carried out so as to limit the use of chimical products to the strict necessary. We encourage the choice of organic products and do not use pesticides. On our estate, work (cultivation, harvesting, etc.) is entirely handmade. This is also dictated by the type of terrain.
We have created a “conservatoire” for Syrah to keep the genetic heritage developed by this type of vine in Côte Rôtie. 65 sets of 10 stocks, all selected in the territory, have been provided to create new plants reserved for us. Their different characteristics are being studied. Given the success, the surface of the conservatoire was doubled in 2008.
The new cellar
Since the summer of 2007, our wines are maturing in our new cellar. This cellar dates from the late fifteenth century and benefits from constant temperature and humidity, with a good infiltration seeping in along the rocks.
